Justin Bieber arrested, charged with assault and dangerous driving

Justin Bieber faces assault and dangerous driving charges after he was arrested in Canada last week, CNN reports.

Bieber's ATV crashed into a minivan Friday in Perth County, Ontario, and he allegedly got into a fight with one of the minivan's occupants immediately afterwards.

The singer also faces an assault charge in Toronto stemming from a previous incident, and ison probation in Los Angeles after he admitted to egging his neighbor's house earlier this year. Last month, he struck a plea deal to settle a drunken driving case in Miami.

Bieber is due in court on these charges on Sept. 29.
