UPDATE: Names released in fatal Dubuque Co. motorcycle crash

DUBUQUE COUNTY (KWWL) - Police have released the names of the drivers involved in a crash Sunday afternoon in Dubuque County, including the name of a motorcycle driver who died of his injuries.

Thomas Haberichter, 56, of Waukon, died of his injuries after a pickup turned left into the path of his motorcycle, according to the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office.

The pickup also hit a motorcycle driven by Nancy Haberichter, 50, also of Waukon. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Finley Hospital.

The driver of the pickup, Kevin Stocks of Bellevue, was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.

A motorcyclist was killed following a three-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Dubuque County.

The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office said two motorcycles and a pickup truck were involved in the crash just after 4 p.m. near the entrance of Spring Valley Mobile Home Park on U.S. 52 between Dubuque and St. Donatus.

Deputies say the two motorcycles were traveling northbound on U.S. 52 when the pickup turned and the motorcycles hit the truck.

The driver of one of the motorcycles was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, where that driver later died.

The driver of the second motorcycle was taken to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital and is expected to survive.

The driver of the pickup was not injured.

The names of the people involved in the crash have not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
