Hansen Elementary debuts new spaces

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

The Cedar Falls Community School District will unveil new and renovated spaces at Hansen Elementary on Thursday, Sept. 6.

The ribbon cutting will begin at 6 p.m. School Board members, staff & students and representatives from the Greater Cedar Valley Alliance will be there.

“This beautiful space is an awesome representation of the community's commitment to education,” Principal Tara Estep said.

The event will include remarks by Joyce Coil, School Board President, Dr. Andy Pattee, Superintendent, and Tara Estep, Hansen Elementary Principal. After the ribbon cutting, students will provide guided tours of the building until 7:30 p.m. Attendees will also be welcome to tour the building on their own. Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria.

Hansen Elementary School is located at 616 Holmes Drive.
