Dike-New Hartford took advantage of five Aplington-Parkersburg turnovers and a muffed punt to beat the Falcons 27-7 in the AG Bowl at Ed Thomas Field in Parkersburg.

Aplington-Parkersburg,  breaking from tradition, used a no huddle, spread offense.  The Falcons scored on their first possession when Isaac Ubben broke a tackle in the backfield before racing through a huge hole 45 yards to give A-P a 7-0 first quarter lead.

But Dike-New Hartford responded with a 32 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Connor McCleary to Connor Neuroth to tie the game at 7. The Wolverines' Trent Johnson scored on an eight yard touchdown run before the end of the first half to make it 14-7 DNH at halftime. Johnson also scored the final touchdown of the game.
