EVANSDALE (KWWL) - An eastern Iowa agency has created a new web page to keep the public updated on a high-profile case where two girls were abducted and killed.

The Evansdale Police Department created a "Latest on Lyric and Elizabeth" page on evansdalepolice.org; you can go directly to that page here: http://evansdalepolice.org/latestonlyricandelizabeth.php

There is a lengthy "Suspect Info" page with what officials call "possible characteristics" of the suspect they are looking for. The "Contact Info" section has information about the tip lines and donations.

"This website will be updated as information becomes available and is to be released to the public," said Evansdale Police Chief Kent Smock. "Anyone interested in staying up to date is encouraged to visit the site often as information is updated."

Smock also noted the current reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the crime is up to $170,000.

Lyric Cook, 10, and Elizabeth Collins, 8, went missing July 13, 2012. Their bodies were found in a wilderness area of Bremer County in December of 2012.
