City of Cedar Rapids inspects bridges Thursday

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - The City of Cedar Rapids continues to check city bridges Thursday, as part of the week-long bridge inspection process that began Monday, August 18.

The inspections are routine and meet requirements set by the Federal Highway Administration. Traffic is advised to use caution during the inspections.

The areas to be inspected Thursday are as follows:

  • E Ave. south lane from approx. 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
  • F Ave. north lane from approx. 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • 3rd Ave. south lane from approx. noon to 2 p.m.
