UPDATE: Two men injured in Cedar Rapids shooting

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Cedar Rapids Police Department has released the names of two men injured in a Monday night shooting on the city's southwest side.

Officers were called to the 4100 block of Wilson Avenue SW at 6:31 p.m. Monday for a report of a shooting.

While investigating and collecting evidence, including shell casings, at the scene, officers were told that two men showed up at area hospitals with gunshot wounds.

Greg Buelow, Public Safety Communications Coordinator, says 23-year-old Delmos Scott of Cedar Rapids showed up at Mercy Medical Center with a superficial graze wound to his scalp and 30-year-old Patrick Richmond of Temple, Texas showed up at St. Luke's Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Through their investigation, officers determined that people inside two vehicles were shooting at each other
