Making sure Cedar Rapids storm victims get help they need

Posted: Updated:
CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - Some people are partnering to help make sure Cedar Rapids storm victims get the resources they need by paying for a case manager.

The City of Cedar Rapids, Linn Area Partners Active in Disaster, and Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation are sharing the costs of a Case Manager.

The total cost will be $18,300 or less and will be split equally between the groups.

The Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc. (HACAP) will run the program. The case manager will work directly with individuals and families who were impacted by strong storms in June.
