WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Samir Koirala arrived the city of Bo, Sierra Leone's second largest city, last week, according to the Department of Public Health. He is working with local teams to coordinate outbreak care and Ebola prevention efforts.

Koirala is making an effort to provide updates about his work in Sierra Leona whenever he can. To follow his updates, you can see his reports on the IDPH Facebook page or on Twitter, by following @IAPublicHealth #IaEpi.

The current outbreak is the first in West Africa, and is the largest Ebola outbreak in history.
