United Way helps kids get school supplies

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States is partnering with Wal-Mart to promote the "Fill-The-Bus" program.

The national partnership promotes customers to buy school supplies for children in tri-state area. Supplies will be donated to the Apples for Students Program through St. Mark Youth Enrichment.

"Fill-The-Bus" takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Wal-Mart in Dubuque, located at 4200 Dodge St.

The three building blocks of United Way are education, income and health. United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States focuses on giving, advocating and volunteering within the community.
