WELLMAN (AP) -

A former business manager for an eastern Iowa school district has pleaded not guilty to stealing around $7,000 through an employee credit card.

Online court records say 41-year-old Cindy Steege, of North Liberty, made her plea last month in Washington County District Court.

She's charged with theft, accused of making unauthorized purchases with the credit card for Mid-Prairie Community School District between October 2012 and this past February

Her trial is scheduled to begin on Nov. 25.
