DUBUQUE COUNTY (KWWL) - UPDATE: The four victims of a crash near Epworth Saturday afternoon involving a pickup truck pulling a stock trailer and a Gator Utility Vehicle have been identified.

The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office says Bryce Wilwert of Placid, Mitchell Kluesner of Epworth, Nicholas Kramer of Dyersville and Sean Kenneally of Peosta, all 14, were killed when 24-year-old Joe Connolly failed to stop for a stop sign, went through the intersection and crashed into their utility vehicle.

Connolly, of rural Holy Cross, was uninjured, but his two passengers, Joe Lucas, 25, of Epworth and Elissa Ericson, 21, of Cedar Rapids were treated. Lucas is in stable condition at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office and Iowa State Medical Examiners Office. The sheriff's office is working with the Dubuque County Attorney's Office on any possible criminal charges.

A prayer service was set for 4 p.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church in Peosta for the families of all four teens.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Four people are dead and two injured after a crash involving a pickup truck pulling a stock trailer and a Gator Utility Vehicle near Epworth Saturday afternoon.  

It happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hartebecke Road and East Pleasant Grove Road.  

The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office says 24-year-old Joe Connolly failed to stop for a stop sign. They say his truck then went through the intersection and crashed into the utility vehicle.  

The Sheriff's Office says all four people on board the utility vehicle died in the crash.

Connolly was not injured. Two passengers in his truck were taken to a hospital for treatment.  

The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office will continue its investigation.
