DES MOINES (KWWL) -

Beckman fell behind Hinton 1-0 early in their Class 2A state baseball quarterfinal.

But the Blazers would light a fire with some great defense. With runners on first and second, Tony Anstoetter made a great diving grab in left to get the Blazers out of a jam in the top of the second.

And Anstoetter came through big in the bottom half with a shot in to the gap that allows two runs score. Beckman got four in the inning for a 4-1 lead.

Later in the sixth, Beckman's Connor Klosterman helped put the nail in the coffin with a hard shot in to right center that went for an RBI triple.

Beckman advanced to Thursday's state semifinals with a 6-3 win.
