Man injured in tractor accident

IOWA COUNTY (KWWL) -

An eastern Iowa man is injured after his tractor rolled in a ditch, landing on top of him.

The tractor accident happened on 230th Street and J Avenue, just six miles west of Williamsburg.

Iowa County Sheriff's Office tell us once they arrived a man was trapped under the tractor in a ditch off the side of the road.

The man was freed by Iowa County Rescue and the Williamsburg Fire Department and taken by Air Care to the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

Iowa County Rescue, Williamsburg Fire Department all assisted.

The condition of the man is unknown.

The name of the individual involved is not being released at this time due to notification of family members.
