More than 150 tractors to tour Northeast Iowa

More than 150 tractors will roll into Waverly this week as part of the 7th annual North Iowa Tractor Ride.

The ride, presented by Auto Edge of Mason City and hosted by North Iowa Broadcasting, begins on Thursday, July 17th with registration at Waverly-Shell Rock Senior High School in Waverly. 

Students with the Future Farmers of America (FFA) will host the riders and raise money for their school projects.

The ride will tour some of the most scenic areas in Northeast Iowa, including winding back and forth across the Cedar River. 

Tractors are expected to make stops in Finchford, Denver, Bremer, Clarksville, Greene and Plainfield. 

The dates of the ride coincide with the Bremer County Fair.

The schedule for specific stops includes:

Friday, July 18th:

Waverly-Shell Rock High School, tractors depart between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Janesville, Riviera Roose Community Center, 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Denver, City Park, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Bremer, Fredericksburg Co-op, 2:15 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.

Waverly-Shell Rock High School, tractors return between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.

Saturday, July 19th:

Waverly-Shell Rock High School, tractors depart between 8:20 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

Clarksville, City Park, 9:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m.

Greene, Community Center, 11:20 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Plainfield, City Park, 2:00 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.

Waverly-Shell Rock High School, tractors return between 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
