Nature reserve hosts turtle exhibit

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

The Hartman Reserve Nature Center is will host the traveling exhibit "Turtles: Secrets of the Shell."

The exhibit will begin with an open house on August 10, and continue until Sept. 19. It is on loan from the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium in Dubuque.

Children will have a chance to climb on turtle shells and a realistic turtle statue. There will also be live turtles.

The open house in August will run from 1-5 p.m.
