SILVIS, Ill. (KWWL) -

Zach Johnson made a run, but Bryan Harman finished stronger to win the John Deere Classic. It was the first career PGA Tour victory for Harman.

After what he called a "blah" day on Saturday, Johnson put it back together on Sunday. He rallied to tie Harman twice on top of the leaderboard after opening the day with a three stroke deficit. Johnson shot 7 under par on his final round to finish -21 for the tournament.

Harman, meanwhile, took control with 3 straight birdies at the 14th, 15th, and 16th holes to move to 23 under par. He went to the 18th with a 2 stroke lead and bogeyed the final hole to preserve the victory.

Peosta, Iowa, native Steven Ihm finished 27th overall at 10 under par in his first tournament as a professional.
