Resource fair for recent Cedar Rapids flash flooding

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - Recent heavy rain took a heavy toll on many people in Cedar Rapids as they were impacted by flash flooding.

The City of Cedar Rapids is inviting residents to a resource fair to help them recover from those storms June 29-30.

The fair will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Beems Auditorium at the Cedar Rapids Public Library. Several

service agencies will there including United Way 2-1-1, the American Red Cross, Horizons, Iowa Legal Aid and Metro Catholic Outreach.

Representatives from city departments and utility companies will also be there.
