Tornadoes officially recorded in Reinbeck and Traer on Sunday

 Two tornadoes were officially recorded during a round of storms that swept through eastern Iowa on Sunday night.

An EF-1 tornado touched down in Reinbeck for 3.1 miles, with a maximum width of 100 yards and wind speeds up to 100 miles per hour. That tornado started about 2 miles west-northwest of Reinbeck and ended about 1.7 miles south of Reinbeck.

An EF-1 tornado also touched down near Traer and Dinsdale and ran for about 6.6 miles with a maximum width of 200 yards. That tornado had wind speeds of 90 miles per hour. It began 1.8 miles east-southeast of Dinsdale and ended about 3 miles east of Traer.

Most of the damage from the two tornadoes were to trees and one farm outbuilding.

No injuries were reported from either tornado.
