Base of Loras Blvd in Dubuque to close for two weeks Monday

The City of Dubuque is closing the base of Loras Boulevard for pavement repairs starting Monday morning. The city expects the work to take two weeks.

The closure will stretch along Loras Boulevard from Bluff Street to Henion Street.

Eastbound traffic coming down the hill will be detoured onto Alta Vista Street to University Avenue to Locust Street. Westbound traffic, traveling up Loras Boulevard, will be detoured onto Locust Street to Kirkwood Street to Alta Vista Street.

The work is set to start 8 a.m. Monday, July 7 and end around 5 p.m. Monday, July 21.
