Second game of Bucks' doubleheader rained out

Posted: Updated:
The Waterloo Bucks attempt at a unique home and home doubleheader with the Rochester Honkers falls just short. Monday night’s game between the Bucks and the Honkers at  Riverfront Stadium has been postponed due to rain and unplayable field conditions.  The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at 6:05 pm on Friday, July 4.  That contest will feature two seven-inning games.

Earlier today, the Bucks beat Rochester at Mayo Field  in Rochester by the score of 6-5 as part of a regularly scheduled home-and-home split-doubleheader.  With the rainout, that was the final game of the first half of Northwoods League play, giving the Bucks a 24-11 record and second place finish in the North Division.
