Judge rules a Cedar Falls woman is not guilty of murder

Posted: Updated:

A Cedar Falls woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death is acquitted of murder.

Friday Black Hawk County judge ruled Kristie Clark-Richardson acted in self defense when she stabbed 38-year-old Keon Dale in March 2013.

The judge says Clark-Richardson had a reason to fear for her life and safety since he had threatened her before.

She's been released from jail.
