U.S. Bank in Cedar Rapids robbed Thursday

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -
Cedar Rapids Police confirm that the U.S. Bank in Cedar Rapids on 16th Ave. SW was robbed at around 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say that two people are in custody, though it is unclear if they are suspects in the robbery.

There was a car crash downtown that police say is related to the robbery.

The robbery comes one day after the Guaranty Bank on Jacolyn Drive was robbed Wednesday.
