A Central City man was killed when a truck turned in front of his motorcycle, according to Cedar Rapids Police.

David Hannen, 29, of Central City, was pronounced dead at St. Luke's Hospital after the crash.

Sgt. Daniel Jabens says officers were called to the intersection of Center Point Road NE and 32nd Street NE at around 5 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle.

Police say Jeff Huber, 57, of Marion, was driving a Ford Ranger south on Center Point Road NE and made a left turn onto 32nd Street NE in front of Hannen's motorcycle.
