Posted: Updated:

A new collection of folk art is now on display at the Vesterheim Norwegian-American museum and heritage center in Decorah.

"National Exhibition of Folk Art in the Norwegian Tradition" features 170 pieces from 106 artists in 20 states.

Woodworking, knife-making, rosemaling and weaving will be judged.

“With brand new pieces every year by both returning and first-time artists, this exhibition is an incredibly inspiring show,” Laurann Gilbertson, Vesterheim’s Chief Curator, said.

The exhibition will run through July 26.
