Dallas Clark retires as an Indianapolis Colt

After 11 NFL seasons including 9 with the Indianapolis Colts, former Iowa Hawkeye great Dallas Clark is leaving the game as a Colt.

Clark wanted to retire with the Colts, for whom he spent nine of his seasons and set franchise records for a tight end with 427 receptions and 46 touchdowns.

The man he surpassed in both categories, John Mackey, is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Coincidentally, Clark won the John Mackey Award during his All-American final season with Iowa Hawkeyes in 2002.

Clark was drafted in the first round by the Colts in 2003 and made pro bowls and won a Super Bowl title with the Colts in 2006.
