Dubuque health officials investigating dog bite

DUBUQUE (KWWL) - The City of Dubuque's Health Services Department wants to find a dog after a reported bite Tuesday evening

The incident occurred on Falcon Drive in Terrace Heights. The dog is described as a possible schnauzer mix with reddish-brown brindle colored long hair with pointy ears, approximately 20-30 pounds, which was running loose at the time of the incident. The dog ran east across Peru Road towards the new subdivision currently under construction.

The Health Department wants to find the dog to verify its health and vaccination history. Anyone with information can contact the Health Services Department at (563) 589-4185 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or the Law Enforcement Center at (563) 589-4415 after hours or on the weekend.
