Toddville woman injured after crashing into parked car Tuesday

A Toddville woman was injured Tuesday after she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a parked car.

Sergeant S.A. Humphrey says Linn County deputies were called to the 500 block of Front Street in Toddville at around 3:54 p.m. Tuesday.

Humphrey says 47-year-old Tammy A. Anderson was headed north on Front Street when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed an unoccupied vehicle that was parked on the side of the road.

Anderson was taken to St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids. She is expected to recover.

She was ticketed for failure to maintain control.

The accident remains under investigation.
