WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A 4-year-old boy has died 6 days after an incident at a Waterloo fun center.

Isaiah Neelans died at an Iowa City hospital Friday.

Rescue crews were called to Thorp Family Fun on Lackland Avenue around Noon June 14 after Neelans was found not breathing.

Police say a rope used to secure an inflatable structure was around his neck.

Rescuers were able to revive him and transported him to an Iowa City hospital.

KWWL reached out to Thorp Family Fun Center. A woman who says she was the owner said they wanted to send prayers to the family and anyone involved.

An account has been set up at Veridian Credit Union to help the family with expenses. Anyone can go to any branch to donate to the Isaiah Neelans fund.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday June 25 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway in Waterloo, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Public visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home on West Ridgeway and continue for one hour before services on Wednesday.
