Go-Hawks against Pleasant Valley – going for their first final since 2006, but they would fall behind early – P-V's Ellie Kurth opens it up – the Spartans quickly jump up 1, nothing.
But the Go-Hawks kept battling – Haley Grawe (Gray-way) with a long attempt – knocks home off of the cross-bar – that tied it up at one.
Morgan Neuendorf added the winner in the second half – Go-Hawks move to the final with a 2-1 win.

8-time defending champ Cedar Rapids Xavier was dodging bullets against North Scott. Second half – the net is open but the Lancers Sarah Schwarz pushes it wide – still no score.
Then Karli Rucker with a shot – Holly Hazelton gets just enough of it as it glances off the post.
The game ended in a shoot-out – and North Scott's Lauren Gottfried would get the game winner in the end.
Xavier's incredible run comes to an end, 1-0

Iowa City Regina with a tough draw in 1-A against undefeated Nevada. The Regals with some good looks early on – Jenna Lehman goes too high on this one – still no score. Later – Hanna Yowell on the run-out – but her shot gets saved at the net – no score through regulation – it went to overtime and a couple minutes in – it's Abby Stephenson – Nevada's top scorer – scooting it inside of the right post – that's the game winner – Regina loses an OT heartbreaker 1-0.

    Football is back. Preseason football, that is.  KWWL is airing all four Green Bay Packer preseason football games both its main channel and the CW.  This Sunday, August 19, the Packers head to Maryland to play the Redskins at 6:30 p.m. This will be on the CW, however only syndicated shows will be affected so there isn't anything re-airing. Next Saturday, August 26, the Packers head to Denver to play the Broncos at 8:00 p.m. on KWWL. The KWWL News at 10 will run on the CW....
