Columbus girls with a tough draw – facing 3 time player of the year Rose Ripslinger for Assumption –but the Sailors get the first good look as Lindsey McManus's shot barely gets tipped over the net – still scoreless –but that changed on the other end – Ripslinger to Maddy Irman for the first goal of the game – 1, nothing Knights –but Columbus comes back with Sydney Shannon – she fires one to the back of the net – ties it up at one apiece –but Assumption was too much – Ripslinger mis-hits the shot – but Irman is there to clean it up – Sailors fall 5 to 2.

Iowa City Regina facing first time qualifier Solon –Regals would jump out to a big lead – Jenna Lehman notches the goal – they'd eventually lead 3, zip –Solon gets one back in the second as Emma Moss is good on the penalty kick –but on the other end – Regina gets one of their own – Katie Wick strikes it true – Regals win 4, 1 – next up they'll face undefeated Nevada.
