Salvation Army to hold outdoor concert in Cedar Rapids Thursday

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - The NewBo City Market in Cedar Rapids will be the place for tunes and treats Thursday night, as the Salvation Army presents its outdoor concert and silent auction.
        
The auction will open at 5 p.m. with the Eastern Iowa Brass Band performing at 6 p.m. The indoor market vendors will also be open to guests throughout the evening.

The silent auction will include items such as:
  • Six nights in Tim Dwight's Hawaii condo
  • A suite at the Cedar Rapids Kernels game
  • Party package to Planet X
  • Geonetric office tour and lunch with CEO Eric Engelmann
  • Home maintenance package
The event is free to attend, but donations will be accepted in the Red Kettle.
