One of eastern Iowa's largest summer festivals begins in downtown Waterloo on Thursday, June 12.
My Waterloo Days will start at 10:30 a.m. with People in the Park in Lincoln Park downtown. Attendees can find food vendors and entertainment from the Salsa Band, with children's activities from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Waterloo Rotary Club fireworks will cap the evening at 10 p.m.
People in the Park in Lincoln Park will continue Friday, June 13 from 10:30 a.m. to midnight. Hot air balloons will begin launching around 6 p.m., with the downtown parade beginning at 6:30 p.m.
