WATERLOO (KWWL) -
This week, you may see a few more tractors than normal on area roadways.

Nearly 500 tractors are taking part in the annual Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade.

People began showing up at the National Cattle Congress in Waterloo on Sunday for the event. It's the 15th year for the event, which is described as RAGBRAI  for tractors.

For the next three days, tractors will start at the Cattle Congress and drive to neighboring towns. Organizers say its a great place to see tractors new and old.

"I think if you want to see a variety of tractors, this would be the place to do it," said Renee Uthoff, a Tractorcade coordinator. "There are red ones, green ones, blue ones, orange ones -- I won't name all the different types and models, but it's a great place to come out and see them all at once."

Tractorcade begins Monday at 7 p.m., with the route beginning at the Cattle Congress. The tractors will go through Denver, Waverly and Janesville before returning to the Cattle Congress.
