Six people displaced after Cedar Rapids apartment fire

Posted: Updated:
CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - Six people have to find another place to live after a fire in Cedar Rapids Sunday morning.  Fire crews were called to 100 block of 15th Street SE early Sunday on a report of a fire. It's not clear what started the blaze but the people inside were able to get to safety.  The Red Cross is providing food, clothing, shelter and other emergency items to the six residents.  Fire crews say smoke alarms inside the building were not working.
