Cedar Rapids man charged in Hills Bank robbery from May

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - A Cedar Rapids man was charged with robbing the Hills Bank in federal court Thursday.

Jacob Allen Mack, 24, of Cedar Rapids, was charged with one count of bank robbery in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids on Friday.

The indictment alleges Mack robbed the Hills Bank in downtown Cedar Rapids on May 2.

If convicted, Mack faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. He is being held without bond.

His next appearance is scheduled for Aug. 4.
