Wadena man arrested after shots fired call Tuesday

WADENA (KWWL) - A Wadena man was arrested Tuesday after police received a shots-fired call Tuesday night.

Daniel Edwin Allsup, 49, of Wadena was charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a felony, and possession of marijuana.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was called to the 100 block of South Cline Street in Wadena Tuesday at 9:16 p.m. for shots fired.

After arresting Allsup, deputies also found and seized "numerous firearms and ammunition and reloading equipment," and marijuana, according to the sheriff's office.

No injuries were reported.

Allsup was taken to the Fayette County Jail to await a court appearance.

Assisting the Fayette County Sheriff's Office were the Iowa State Patrol and West Union Police.
