HAZLETON (KWWL) - A Hazleton man is facing a bigamy charge after being accused of being married to two women at the same time.

The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office says it arrested 30-year-old Jeremy Michael Quario on Saturday.

Deputies say Quario married a woman on Feb. 7, 2013 and then married another woman on Sept. 6, 2013. They say he was legally married to both women for approximately seven months.

Norma Quario married Jeremy Quario on Valentines day, 2013.

She says her wedding day wasn't necessarily a happy time, it was instead what she calls "a marriage of convenience."

"I was pregnant and didn't want to be single I guess," said Norma Quario.

Norma says Jeremy didn't tell her at the time he was still married to another woman.

"He had to have known his divorce wasn't finalized when he married me," said Norma Quario.

Norma didn't find that out until just a month ago, from online court records. She says she's only met the other woman once.

"He has kids with her and there's a no contact order so I was trying to help him and he has visitation, but he can't be around her so I was the go between," said Norma Quario.

Norma and Jeremy haven't been living together since December because of a domestic dispute.

She says wherever he is she hopes he hears this message:
"**** off and die. I know you will have to edit that, but it's my honest opinion."
