CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -
Cedar Falls Police are still searching for the man responsible for a deadly shooting in Cedar Falls.
21-year-old Norman Gant was shot on Tremont Street in Cedar Falls early Sunday morning. Gant was taken to the hospital but couldn't be revived.
On Monday Gant's sister, Laniya Keys, was sitting at her mothers home in Waterloo is waiting for her little brother to come home.
"I don't think it's real. It's not real. I want him to pull up. I want him to walk through this door, but I know that he not," said Keys.
Keys says now she's having trouble sleeping because she's missing the youngest member of their family. Gant was the youngest of seven children and just celebrated his 21st birthday in March.
Keys says Gant was an outgoing guy who had no enemies.
"Because this ain't fair. This ain't fair to his friends and this is not fair to his family. You all need to come out. I don't know who did it or why or what the case was," said Keys.
Keys says Gant should not have lost his life at the young age of 21 and has some strong words for the person who killed him.
"I hope you all get what you deserve. I hope they put you under, the jail literally. And I'm saying that from the bottom of my heart. Whoever did this needs to be caught. I hope you all, I want them to suffer," said Keys.
