Clarksville's Pioneer Days Festival begins June 12

CLARKSVILLE (KWWL) - Three new bands will debut at Clarksville's annual Pioneer Days Festival, which is scheduled for June 12-14.

Classic rockers "Loose Neutral" will debut Friday night, variety band "Route 66" performs Saturday afternoon and "Crazy Delicious" will perform new country and classic rock Saturday night.

Three nights of free, live music, a grand parade, carnival rides, food, contests, a large beverage garden and flea market will be featured at the event.

Saturday morning, the Pioneer Day Challenge 5K will begin at Henry Woods State Park with registration starting at 7 a.m.

Later that day, the grand parade will take place at 2 p.m.

The third annual Orly's Hot Dog Eating Contest, spelling bee and a fishing derby will all feature prizes.
