List steps down at Cedar Falls

Posted: Updated:
CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) - Dan List is calling it quits at Cedar Falls. After a 22 year, hall of fame career, the Tigers' girls' basketball coach will step aside.
List compiled a 318-184 record at Cedar Falls. The biggest wins of his career, of course, came in the 2001 season. List led the Tigers to an undefeated record and the only state title of his career. He was later inducted to the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Hall of Fame in 2008.
Gregg Groen, who assisted list the past 10 years, will step in as the team's interim head coach next season.
