PHOTOS: Cedar Rapids Police say Guaranty Bank robbed again

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - For the second time in 13 days, a southeast Cedar Rapids bank has been robbed.

Cedar Rapids Police got a call about an armed robbery at the Guaranty Bank at 2711 Bever Ave. SE, at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Police say a suspect entered the bank, showed a handgun and demanded cash, leaving the bank on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as a black male wearing a white, long-sleeved t-shirt and a hat.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to call the Cedar Rapids Police Department at 319-286-5491 or Linn County Crimestoppers at 1-800-272-7463.
