Former Cedar Falls football star, Barkley Hill, is leaving the Iowa Hawkeyes and returning to the Cedar Valley to play for the University of Northern Iowa...

A UNI spokesman confirmed that Hill has enrolled in classes at Northern Iowa ---

Barkley Hill was an all-state running back for the CF Tigers before signing with Hawkeyes in 2012. Hill redshirted in the fall of that year after suffering a knee injury during the preseason.

Today Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz released a statement that Hill was leaving the Hawkeye Football program ---

 Hill would be eligible to play immediately for the Panthers, and would have three years of eligibility remaining.
