Police investigate burglary at Dubuque pizza place

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Dubuque Police are investigating a burglary that occurred Thursday evening at a new Dubuque restaurant.

Lt. Scott Baxter with the Dubuque Police Department said the burglary took place at Monkeyboy Pizza located on Central Avenue in Dubuque between 10:45 and 11:30 p.m. Thursday evening.

He said an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the property and the property was left with some damage.

Dubuque Police said they are following up with some leads, but not arrests have been made thus far.
