Police search for four suspects in Coralville home-invasion robbery

Posted: Updated:
CORALVILLE (KWWL) - The Coralville Police Department is looking for four suspects after a home-invasion robbery. It happened in the 700 block of 14th Avenue. The Coralville Police Department said four suspects got in the house through an unlocked front door.

They showed knives and handguns and forced one adult and two minors into a bathroom. The suspects then demanded property and hit the adult and one of the minors in the head with a gun. The injuries weren't serious.

Police believe this was a targeted home invasion and not a random attack. The suspects wore black clothing and masks.

Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.
