White Street resurfacing project in Dubuque begins Monday

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The City of Dubuque will begin the first phase of the White Street resurfacing project between 11th and 21st Streets on Monday, May 19th at
7 a.m. During phase one, the west lane of White Street will be closed and traffic will be merged to the east lane, and selected cross streets between Central Avenue and White Street will be closed to thru traffic.

During the first phase, E. 14th Street will be closed between Central Avenue and White Street. Motorists will need to follow a designated detour during that time. The closure is expected to last three weeks.

Motorists should expect delays during the first phase of construction. City officials encourage motorists to use caution in the area of temporary traffic controls.
