FAYETTE COUNTY (KWWL) -

Two men face littering charges in Fayette County after the sheriff's office says someone reported 50 bags of trash thrown in ditches.

The trash was discovered Tuesday, scattered in ditches in about a half mile stretch of Lynx Road one mile west of West Union.

After an investigation, the sheriff's office arrested Sean David Reisner, 23, of Oelwein, and Tyler Robinson, 20, of Lamont.

Both are charged with littering, which is a simple misdemeanor, and were released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
