CORALVILLE (KWWL) -

Coralville's Old Town Hall will move from its current location on 2nd Avenue to 407 5th Street on Tuesday.

Crews moving the brick structure from the early 1880's are expected to be finished by noon. In the meantime, local transit and traffic will be impacted.

Three stops for Coralville Transit will be skipped on May 20. The 10th Street routes will be diverted south at 5th Street and 6th Avenue to Highway 6, inbound to Iowa City, skipping stops #4370, #4380 and #4031.

Traffic will also be detoured starting at 9 a.m. and lasting the duration of the building relocation. Crews will be closing off 5th Street from 2nd Avenue to 4th Avenue and 2nd Avenue south of 5th Street.

City officials invite the public to watch the relocation from the front lawn of the 1876 Schoolhouse at 310 5th Street, with parking available on 6th Avenue.
