IOWA CITY (KWWL) -
The Chamber Singers of Iowa City will hold their season finale of Durufle's Requiem this Sunday, May 18th at 3 p.m. at the United Congregational Church.
Through its extensive use of the ancient Gregorian chants for the Mass of the Dead, clothed in profound, progressive harmony, Durufle's Requiem is at once modern, yet timeless, according to the press release.
The performance features the organ-only and guest soloists Lisa Neher and Steven Swanson will be joining the Chamber Singers.
