Hawks' Fiedorowicz and Kirksey picked in 3rd Round of NFL Draft

A couple of Iowa Hawkeye football stars heard their names called on day two of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Iowa tight end C. J. Fiedorowicz and Hawkeye linebacker Christian Kirksey were both selected in the third round of the draft.

The Houston Texans selected Fiedorowicz with the first pick in the third round, 72nd pick overall.  While Kirksey was taken by the Cleveland Browns with the 72nd choice overall.

    Jared Moe stopped everything that came his way. The goaltender picked up just the 12th playoff shut-out in Waterloo Black Hawks' junior hockey history as they took down Lincoln 3-0 to even up the Western Division semifinals at one game apiece.
